Eyebrow Transplant

Eyebrow Transplant

Natural brow line.

An eyebrow transplant is a permanent cosmetic procedure in which fine single hair follicles from the back of the head are transplanted through micro-channels into areas of the eyebrow that are sparse, interrupted or missing. Over-plucking, scars, thinning caused by thyroid disease or alopecia, and naturally thin brows are reshaped naturally and permanently.

The brow shape is designed with your doctor according to your facial proportions; because each follicle is placed at the flat angle and direction of natural brow hair, the result looks like real eyebrows, not permanent make-up.

Benefits

  • Real hair, permanent result: unlike microblading it does not fade; it grows like your own brows.
  • Natural direction and angle: every follicle is placed flat to the skin in the natural flow of the brow.
  • Personalised design: start, arch and tail points are set for your face using the golden ratio.
  • Short procedure, short recovery: 2–4 hours; scabs fall off in 5–7 days with no visible marks.
  • Covers scars: gaps left by accidents or surgery are filled.

The process step by step

  1. Online assessment: graft count and price from photos of your brows and face within 24 hours.
  2. Day 1 — design: facial analysis; your preferred brow shape is drawn and approved in front of the mirror.
  3. Day 2 — procedure (2–4 hours): local anaesthesia; fine single follicles are harvested from the back of the head and placed with a DHI pen at the angle of brow hair (250–500 grafts).
  4. Day 3 — check-up and first wash: gentle cleansing instruction, care kit and written aftercare.
  5. Follow-up: temporary shedding in weeks 2–4; growth from month 3; full result at 6–9 months. Regular trimming is needed in the first months.

Who is it for?

Suitable for women and men whose brows have not grown back after over-plucking, are naturally sparse, scarred or burnt, or have thinned because of illness (thyroid disease, alopecia areata, after chemotherapy). The procedure is postponed during active alopecia areata or trichotillomania. It is also a natural alternative for those unhappy with permanent make-up.

Frequently asked questions

Will the transplanted brows grow like scalp hair?

For the first 6–12 months they keep some scalp-hair character and grow a little faster; trimming every 2–3 weeks is enough. Over time most hairs adapt to brow character.

Will there be scars?

No. Channels are 0.5–0.6 mm; redness clears in 5–7 days. The extraction points at the back of the head are invisible.

How many grafts do I need?

150–250 to thicken sparse brows, 350–500 for complete reshaping. This is confirmed at the design stage.

I have had microblading. Can I still have a transplant?

Yes. The pigment sits beneath the brow and does not interfere with the transplant; it even provides colour support until the new brows grow in.
